Great Article on the benifits of short workouts thoughout the day

The New York Time's Gretchen Reynolds has written another great piece on the benifits of working out 3 times a day 10 mins each. 

She refers to a study by Dr. Glen Gaesser a professor and Director of the Healthy Lifestyles Research Center at Srizona State University " Dr. Gaesser asked his volunteers to walk briskly at an intensity equaling about 75% percent of each voluteer's maximum heart rate for 10 minutes three time during the day. The sessions took place at 9:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m."

The results indicate that as much benifit comes from 3 10 min workouts as one 30 min, encouraging for those of you that struggle with finding the time to get some excercise. Imagine how easy it would be on a Game Court in your home or yard.
